- How will your project address the 2025 DHW topic of paediatric health?
- How will your project educate participants?

- How will you incorporate the products donated by Colgate?
- What are your expected outcomes?
- When will your project take place?
Principles for selection criteria
- Oral hygiene products will be part of an overall oral health promotion strategy which is outlined in the project description.
- Projects must take place during Dental Health Week (August 4 – 10, 2025) or during the month of August (Oral Health Month).
- Projects must address risk factors and be connected to broader approaches aimed at improving oral health, in particular for children. Where there is competition for product, projects with the best planning that fulfil the criteria outlined below under the heading “Criteria for Selection of Winners” will be selected.
Criteria for Selection of Winners
In order to be eligible for to win a prize, initiatives must meet the following criteria or a majority thereof;
- Projects should provide assistance to children and their families to improve knowledge and ability to care for their oral health and target at-risk and priority populations.
- Approaches to oral health promotion should be informed by evidence of effectiveness where possible;
- Agency collaborations and common risk factor approaches are encouraged to broaden the impact of the resources.
- Projects that involve community outreach are encouraged to help empower populations to care for their oral health
